Online Media Technologies Ltd., the owner of www.avsmedia.com project releases freeware AVS DVD Player v1.3., an absolutely free program for playing back of DVDs and video files.

Thanks to the latest improvements this free AVS DVD Player gives you impressive video and audio quality with an easy navigation interface through the context menu.

Apart from regular DVD (PAL, NTSC, VCD, SVCD) formats, also supported are: the entire range of MPEG4 (including DivX, XviD, etc.), MPEG1, MPEG2, AVI, Real Media video, Quick Time files, WMV files (including WMV-HD), H.263, H.264, mobile video formats (3GP, 3GP2, MP4). This strong compatibility makes free AVS DVD Player a universal player.

The free package also introduces the enhanced audio feature enabling you to watch regular stereo movies with the imitated Multichannel surround sound.

AVS DVD Player is region free, it means you can play all region DVDs on all DVD drives even if you changed region code several times.

Another obvious change is the overall extended list of features designed to considerably improve viewing videos on your PC. The full set includes automatic aspect ratio, audio stream selection, video-speed control, extremely useful for skipping commercials, selection of available subtitles, multi-language support, easy chapter selection for the DVD menu, bookmarks management, angle selection, resume option of a specific DVD, fullscreen/desktop play, and many more options.
